About Us

Comal County Republican Headquarters is located at 256 Landa Street, New Braunfels, TX 78130.  The office is open year round Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (hours will be expanded closer to election dates).  At Headquarters, you may register to vote, learn more about upcoming elections, current issues and events, connect with like-minded citizens, and purchase signs, hats, shirts, etc.

Mark Montgomery

Following my retirement in 2009 from a 38-year career in mid-management within the oil and gas industry, I transitioned into an active role in conservative politics. 

 

Over the years, I have served the Republican Party in various capacities, reinforcing my conviction that providing voters with comprehensive, well-researched information about candidates and legislative matters is paramount.

 

With more than a decade of experience as an Election Judge, five years as a delegate to the Republican State Convention, and a steadfast commitment as a volunteer, I have also contributed my expertise to the boards of multiple clubs and organizations.

 

These experiences have underscored the critical need for proactive efforts to mobilize conservative voter turnout at the polls.​​​

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee for Comal County Republican Party consists of the County Chair, Mark Montgomery, and the Republican Precinct Chairs for each precinct, listed at the bottom of the page.

Precinct Chairs

The only elected official in each precinct is the Precinct Chair.  The precinct is the smallest unit of the Republican Party in Texas; however, it is the most essential unit. It is here, at the grassroots level, that voters are identified and turn out on Election Day.

The duties of the Precinct Chair include:

​

  • Getting People In Their Precinct Involved

  • Identifying Voters

  • Registering Voters

  • Informing Voters

  • Encouraging Voter Turnout

 
One of the best ways to get involved with the Republican Party is to contact your Precinct Chair and offer to help organize the voters in your precinct.  If you know your Precinct Chair's name, you may click on their name below to email them directly; otherwise, click on the map below to identify your precinct's Chair.
